Empowering young people with industry-ready skills creates opportunities that transform lives and strengthen communities.
A skilled workforce is the foundation of sustainable economic growth. As industries evolve with new technologies, the need for practical, industry-relevant training becomes increasingly important. Equipping young people with employable skills not only enhances their career prospects but also contributes to the long-term development of the region.
Recognising this need, Meghmani Foundation laid the foundation stone for a Skill Development Centre (Industrial Training Institute) at Eksal village on Dahej Road on September 30, 2025. Located in the rapidly developing industrial corridor of Bharuch district, the centre is being established to provide vocational training aligned with the requirements of modern industries.
The institute will offer training in a wide range of technical and vocational disciplines, including plumbing, electrical work, store operations, computer hardware and networking, while also introducing future-focused courses such as chemical plant operations, mechanical systems, automation, data analytics and artificial intelligence. Spread across 9,665.5 square metres, the campus is designed to serve students from 653 villages across eight talukas of Bharuch district, while also supporting the upskilling of employees working in the industrial hubs of Dahej, Vilayat, SEZ and GIDC.
With an estimated investment of ₹39.35 crore, the Skill Development Centre represents Meghmani Foundation’s long-term commitment to creating opportunities through education, employability and industry-ready skills. By connecting learning with the changing needs of the industrial world, the Foundation aims to prepare the next generation for meaningful careers and contribute to the region’s sustainable growth.
