“Meghmani supported my education”

“My family was in trouble. I got relief in college fees from Meghmani. Today I am working, and I am preparing for GPSC!”

Ms. Pooja Rajput, a student of Shri Umiya KVC Nursing College, Umiya Education Trust, Sola, Ahmedabad, shares her experience here.

“After the tragic death of my father due to COVID, I was feeling very depressed and helpless. Life seemed unstable. My mother was also undergoing treatment for a tumour and had to undergo brain surgery. I was in a lot of trouble, but I contacted the Meghmani family and Umiya Education Trust and got admitted to the nursing college in October 2015.

I am from a backward area like village Kalazani, taluka Jetpur Pavi, district Chhota Udepur.

The honourable Trustee of the Institute, Shri Jayantibhai Patel, supported me with a concession in college fees, and the Trust assisted me for my four years of B.Sc. studies.

Now I have completed my studies and am working at Yogi Clinic in Vadodara. Along with this, I am also preparing for the GPSC exam to become a staff nurse in the government sector.

I have reached so far only due to the cooperation of KVC Education Trust.

I wish that more students facing difficulties in life would come forward, get an education, and take responsibility for their families.
