Today, urbanization is progressing at full speed. Urbanization is not just about people using shiny roads , well-built houses, or modern vehicles and things that are considered status symbols!
The word urbanization has now been completely erased and it is unknown when the word modernization entered its place.
In urbanization, only infrastructure and facilities were enough. While in modernization, instead of buildings, people are becoming mature. Emotions , brotherhood , burning lives by seeing the suffering of others , coming together to rescue people who are in trouble…. This was community life.
Modernity has now started spreading its wings. That is why now man is becoming more and more isolated.
It was said that no one else could match the hospitality and unpretentious simplicity of our forty-eight-year-old community.
It was said that the bread of the forty-eight society was bright.
Remember our grandfathers and the elders of our society that we have seen. How naive and guileless their lives were. When they went out of the village, they would leave with a bag in their hand… They would walk from Rakhiyana to Trent and from there, they would sit in whatever they could find, and then they would come home to Surajpura in two or four days. The atmosphere would be like God coming to the house of the one who had a guest.
This was the identity of our society.
At that time, modernity had not yet sprung up. If someone committed a minor or major crime, they would be fined two maunds and given a chance to reform. People would make mistakes and their stomachs would be filled with pigeons.
Our society had a wonderful justice system.
And now the winds of modernity have blown. An atmosphere has been created where one person after another is being left behind. Ravi Shankarji has said that to leave behind means to eat the hard work of others. But , all this is the effect of modernity. Modernity has taken away more than it has given.
In these difficult times, when the true identity of our rural culture is being erased , Meghmani has a great contribution to rural revival. Rural revival does not mean just providing infrastructure facilities to each village. But , to develop in such a way that the understanding of the people living in the villages is developed. And to ensure that every work is collective.
Meghmani has done a lot of work in this direction. If we look at it this way, top industrial houses do not do much except increasing their revenue. Moreover, some people are satisfied with forming a foundation and keeping employees in it and fulfilling their social responsibility. Whereas here Meghmani herself has become a part of the society and is paving the way for the society with her own efforts.
The blood donation camp concluded yesterday. It is no small feat that the thousands of bottles of blood donated here will add life to many lives. Today, it is very difficult to get just 50 bottles of blood donated. It is no small feat that 3255 bottles of blood were donated there.
This is the right direction given by the people to the call of Meghmani. Talking about that direction, Meghmani has also become a symbol of reliability. Meghmani is the ally of all of us for social development.
Now , the youth of the society will have to come forward and form a chain between the society and Meghmani. Some people including Navinbhai Trent , Rameshbhai Kochada are our intellectuals who are capable and have the insight to create this chain.
On one side is Meghmani, who has true feelings for society, and on the other side is me , you, and the entire society… Let’s think about that.
