Supporting Dignity in Life’s Final Journey

Compassion is measured not only by how we celebrate life, but also by how we stand beside families in their moments of loss.

Community service extends beyond education and healthcare. It also includes supporting essential services that provide comfort, dignity and assistance to families during life’s most difficult moments. Strengthening organisations that offer such services helps build a more caring and compassionate society.

With this belief, Meghmani Foundation extended its support to Sadvichar Parivar, a respected voluntary organisation known for its long-standing contribution to community welfare, by donating a Moksha Vahini (Hearse Van). In addition to providing the vehicle, the Foundation also assumed responsibility for its annual operation and maintenance, ensuring that the service remains available to families in need for years to come.

The vehicle was formally dedicated to Sadvichar Parivar on 1 January 2021 in the presence of Shri Nitinbhai Patel, the then Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat. Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the Meghmani Group’s continued commitment to social service and acknowledged its contributions to several community welfare initiatives. Representatives of Sadvichar Parivar, including trustee and former Chief Secretary of Gujarat Shri P. K. Laheri, expressed their gratitude and reaffirmed the long-standing relationship between the organisation and the Meghmani Group.

By supporting institutions that serve society with dedication and compassion, Meghmani Foundation seeks to strengthen community services that often remain unnoticed but are deeply meaningful. The initiative reflects the Foundation’s belief that every individual deserves dignity and respect, even in life’s final journey.
