The values that strengthen a nation are passed from one generation to the next through stories that inspire.
Community development is not limited to improving physical infrastructure or providing essential services. It also involves nurturing values that bring people together, inspire responsible citizenship and strengthen the social fabric. Stories of courage, sacrifice and selfless service play an important role in shaping these values.
As part of its ongoing Meghmani Lecture Series, Meghmani Foundation organised an inspiring lecture titled “Mission Impossible – Bravery Tales of the Indian Army” on 18 December 2021. The session was delivered by noted writer, speaker and journalist Shri Harshal Pushkarna, who shared remarkable stories of the courage, determination and sacrifice displayed by the brave soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces.
The programme was organised with the support of Dr. Atul Bhatt, Trustee of Manjushree Seva Trust, and formed part of the Foundation’s efforts to celebrate the spirit of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Inspired by the stories shared during the programme, Shri Praveenbhai Bhalodia, brother-in-law of Meghmani Group Chairman and Managing Director Shri Jayantibhai Patel, announced financial assistance of ₹21 lakh, along with mixer-grinders, for 21 Param Vir Chakra awardees or their families. The gesture reflected the deep sense of gratitude and respect for the extraordinary sacrifices made by India’s bravest soldiers.
The event was attended by the Meghmani Group’s directors, senior officials, employees and representatives of various charitable organisations associated with the Group. Mrs. Geetaben Patel, the then Deputy Mayor of Ahmedabad, also graced the occasion.
Through the Meghmani Lecture Series, the Foundation seeks to create meaningful platforms where ideas, experiences and inspiring stories encourage dialogue, strengthen community values and foster a deeper sense of social and national responsibility.
